Meet Sue McMullen - 'Shoe Lady Sue'.
Sue has volunteered for the last seven years at the Medina Community Services Center.  She sorts, sizes, shines & shelves all the shoe donations, thus earning the title "Shoe Lady Sue"!  Help Sue maintain 'job security' so she can continue to serve her clients by donating good-conditioned adult & children's shoes. We salute Sue for her wonderful volunteer work!

Volunteer Sally Harbath has contributed over 3,700 hand knit sets of baby hats and booties to newborns at Medina Hospital.  She began this in 1998 after the birth of her grandaughter and has logged in an amazing 28,000 hours.  How does she find the time?  Sally is seldom spotted without her knitting needles in her hands.  She knits on car trips, at parties, watching TV, and pretty much at everything else.  Sally was even tubing behind a speedboat in Michigan, while knitting a baby hat.  The waves were vigourous that day, but she completed that hat without dropping a stitch!  Plans for a bungee jump while knitting are still in progress.
