Become a Member of Medina County Retired Teachers Association (MCRTA) and Ohio's Retired Teachers' Association (ORTA).

Any administrator or teacher who has retired from the public school, state and municipal colleges and universities of Ohio, any teacher or administrator retired in any other state but living in Ohio, and any spouse who becomes a benefit recipient of STRS is eligible to join both local and state organizations.  These organizations work exclusively for Ohio's retired teachers.  They keep you informed on issues that affect our retired teachers, they monitor and track pertinent legislation, they represent retired teachers at Columbus and Washington, and they extend 'member only' offers.
